Against the advice of his attorney Cobbins took the stand. The attorneys asked to be removed from the case citing fear of perjury and were refused. They will not ask questions so the is talking to the jury. I thought from the beginning their was no way this guy would not get the death penalty this should seal his fate....

The question should not be "Will they get the death penalty?"

The question should be "How and when will the state kill them?"

He is talking about her giving him oral sex and he was smoking laced dope etc.....  Really pissed off the family and you know the jury notices that!! Now the prosecutor is walking him through his testimony!!

Cobbins is dry-eyed looking at his family, they are crying. Jury finds Cobbins guilty in all rapes of Channon, oral, anal and vaginal. Jury acquiting Cobbins entirely in the rape of Chris Newsom.

Penalty phase starts tomorrow. I would be suprised by anything short of the death penalty. Yet this charge puzzles me...

It sounds like the jury determined Cobbins did not rape Newsom. However, he was guilty of raping Christian.

Is the ring leader the next one to go to trial?

Bind Cobbins hands and feet and then sentence him to 30 minutes with Channon Christian's dad.

LaMarcus Davidson's trial starts next month and he has demanded a Knox County jury.    Where do we go to sign up for that duty?

That's what I have been saying. He'd get the job done.
