SC joined here to mine members for his board, some people are stupid enough to accept his . He was emailing off of our email system asking people to join his site and basically calling me and my family every kind of low life criminal imaginable. They called Time Warp and Steamboat asking them to pull sponsorship of the board and called Pilot Oil and raised hell. I pulled down their ad to stop the crap plus they told me it was not necessary to keep the server they bought us. They were supposed to go down to Time Warp and meet up with the ownership and I was going to meet RJ and SC and the boyz at Time Warp and somebody clued those idiots into the fact Time Warp was my family and they were getting ready to walk into Happy Hollow after calling us criminals trash etc...

Over the weekend, ever time I turned on 850 I got music instead of the bunch of talking heads (travel shows, etc) they normally have. At the end of Eddie Beacon's program on Friday there was an announcement that this is the Blount (or some similar name) Radio Network. Maybe Horne has finally unleaded the station.

I thought radio was dead and finding somebody to buy something like that was near impossible? I do wish Russ Dubyah would get his show back. Is Frank making any money with his show?

Damn, Plumber, I'd have bought a ticket to watch that one! Them boys from Deery St. are true Irishsters! Plus it's a good twelve-foot drop off the back deck to the parking lot.

I mentioned that Maryville had a couple of football players that lived in Montgomery Village and some of the Murrville people went balistic. I took the 2 out for breakfast after they beat Catholic, and they are really nice kids.I never asked how a kid who is listed on their mothers lease in the public housing in Knox County can go to Blount County and go to school!! None of my business!! That was copied and sent and posted at another site by the brother of one of the guys mentioned that Link told me never came here because he was mad, hell he posts here.
Right now if you are zoned for Central, Fulton, Austin East, South Doyle, or Gibbs you can attend any school in Knox County. The schools failed and the kids have the right to go to any school in the school district. Programs like Maryville Oak Ridge and other county powers fear that lets say FARRAGUT goes over AE, Fulton Central and carries those kids over to their school to play football.
The TSSAA says that they have to sit out 1 year, the feds have ruled elsewhere that the state governing bodies for sports cannot retrict elegbility if schools fail and student go elsewhere to attend a school. Right now the Maryvilles and Oak Ridges are keeping that rule intact to punish the school on the outskirts of major cities from reaping the harvest.
Back to 850 AM will they have any talk radio on their list?

I don't understand the business plan for the news owners of this station. With very few exceptions they have two djs (Blue Ridge Bob and Eddie Beacon the Swinging Deacon) playing country music throughout the day. They play about 4 or 5 songs in a row and come on the air for a couple of minutes of chat and then play another 4 or 5 songs. There's hardly any advertisements. And it's been this way for a couple of months.
