Dan Rather - Obama Couldn't Even 'Sell Watermelons'

<< < (4/4)

KNOWLEDGE:
So, just like Democrat politicians you make your living by keeping large numbers of people on welfare.   That explains a lot about your views on this subject.    Your job would not be as important if people were given a goal of succeeding and making it on their own and not being fully supported by the government.

I don't blame you for wanting job security but it just doesn't go along with the American Dream.

This coming from the same simpleton who would have us believe that Jimmy Carter and Obama are the two greatest Presidents of this generation.

Lack of Knowledge,

You're clueless, which is repeating the obvious.

I have NEVER, let me repeat that for a simpleton like you, NEVER said Jimmy Carter was a great President. You either have zero reading comprehension skills or you make things up to suit your agenda. Jimmy Carter was a joke. He was probably the worst President in my lifetime ... until George W. Bush, who easily supplanted the ignominious title. I have repeatedly blasted Carter on this forum. How you ever conclude I have praised Carter as some great President is beyond me or anyone else with a functioning brain cell.  dumbass

As for Obama, it is way to early to judge his presidency. I've certainly never claimed he was the greatest President of this generation. I dare you to find a post stating what you claim. You can't because, once again, you're either a twit who can't read or a liar. I'm not sure which is worse.

Welfare is for the disabled but should that keep someone from pushing their children from getting an education and bettering themselves?  Don't tell me the majority are disabled though.   It's just not true.

It's much easier for liberals to always blame the people who actually are working, adding something to society, and making something of themselves.    Why not set that as a goal for the welfare families instead of making them the enemy?   This country was built upon giving everyone an opportunity to better themselves, not taking more and more from those who took advantage of that opportunity and giving it to those who won't. .

LOK,

Really? Did we give native Americans a chance to "better themselves" when we built this country?  It seems we took a whole hell of a lot from them to build it. We took their land; destroyed their culture; and gave them next to nothing in return. Where was this great opportunity for native Americans? Hmmmm?

How about blacks? Just how were they able to "better themselves" in the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries? It seems we took a lot from blacks to build this country so WHITE MEN could better themselves. We took their freedom; their rights; and their lives ... not to mention their dignity as human beings.

Or what about women? Was not having the right to vote a way to "better themselves"? Was being denied education and getting paid (in the few menial jobs women could find) significantly less than men a way for them to "better themselves"? When this country was being built women (assuming you were white; otherwise you didn't count) just how did women have a chance to "better themselves" outside of marrying a rich, WHITE man?

You are proof positive that you see the world only through the lens of WHITE, conservative males who create a nice mythology to discount the problems we have in our country. You're brainwashed, delusional, and have no idea how difficult life is for a large segment of our population. It's pathetic.

All of that BS does not change the fact that most of the folks rceiving that crap are federally designated as disabled!!
