on the test tube?  Scotty might be waiting to show his stuff against UKA$H, so he might actually be snoring at the first part of the game today.    [Credit to 990 this AM]  Coach Pearl said his shooting is off in that building because it is so close to the state line?    I would worry more about his rebounding, defense, and unforced turnovers.

Why was Scotty moping around yesterday?  I don't think he has a clue that it could be two and done for UT.

My guess is JP and Scotty saluted each other after yesterday's effort.  Will they salute again today?

Big Brian Williams continues to be the force inside--rebounding, passing, and playing tough team defense.  He has stabilized this team and I hope it continues!!!

These guys have a golden opportunity.  Coach Pearl had them prepared yesterday and some key ones took the day off.

Go, Volunteers!

 Sky,

Did you hear the dude this morning make the observation that ALL the teams that played yesterday in that building had below 50% 3-point shooting? I predict a better showing today, now that they have bounced a few off of those rims...

Tenn is now on the bubble and will need to win the tournament to get a bid.

Did they ever make a movie:  "Scotty Hopson's Day Off?"

They are making it right now, straight to DVD on sale at the UT Mall.

Based on how many times he didn't box out and his man got the offensive rebound, we might want to call it "Ishtar."

Beautiful win by my Volunteers today.  Wheezy and Big Brian played well against that big front line of Old Misery.  Tatum and JP kept us in it.

The guards and wings can play D against the best and quickest players when determined.

I wish I could go tomorrow!

And that the ball is not sticking to the backboard.

Rip Van Hopson should be well rested.  If Coach Pearl chews on him much more, he is going to have to stand like Wheezy during his bench time.  Scotty is never asleep when it comes time to fire up a scud missle.

Scotty is missing something. Sweat glands. I have not seen him go hard enough to get lathered up. I am afraid he will go Kobe on us if he ever worked up a sweat.

It's a good thing Hopson is thin or his teammates would be worn out from carrying him the last couple of days.

I am ready to bench Hops for the rest of the season. The kid is a mental basket case plus he is soft and lazy.
