Dear Buddha, this forum is a waste of bandwidth.

Dozens of threads started by D   M, spewing his bizarro interpretation of Christianity, followed by few, if any responses. Just on page one I count FOURTEEN threads started by our resident loon with ZERO REPLIES. ZERO. And that's just page one. There's no real debate or honest discussion going on. Just the meandering, psychotic delusions of a religious fanatic. Just look at the number of threads D   M has started. I think D   M must be speaking to the voices in his head. No one else is paying attention.

Why is this crap tolerated? Seriously, this entire board has gone to hell (pun intended) the past two years. There are dozens of good posters who have left, and their losses outnumber the new visitors. The "religious forum" is just one reason among many. It is a JOKE.

Condemnation and judgment. Two aspects of human nature we often come in contact with many times in life. There are two different types of judgment, self righteous judgment is based on OUR opinions and feelings which is one, the other is righteous judgment based on GOD'S opinions and feelings. One people of faith really do not have to concern ourselves with, unless we are doing it, and the other all people should be concerned with, especially if they are not doing it.
God tells us as long as his word and his will is proclaimed that is what matters. FL's self indulgent holier than thou judgment says that if people are not bickering and arguing, if the topics don't please him, if he doesn't like It, it has to go.
Guess which one a true Christian should concern himself with. Christ said where two or more gather in his name he is there, I think myself and the couple of others who actually participate here despite me being dominant, fall under that category. Christ is indeed here. Perhaps that in itself is the true motivation behind FL's attacks? Either way the self righteous venom of God haters should never be an offense to a Christian, but more like a blessing. His condemnations are indeed music to my ears, and reassure me that I am doing something right.

I will sticky this, as a reminder to us all that we are all under the shadow of condemnation and judgement, either it will be the self righteous judgement and condemnation of man, or the VERY RIGHTEOUS judgement and condemnation of our LORD. Each of us have the freedom to choose which ones we will let sway our choices in life. I hope we all make the right choice.

Tell me what is your opinion of condemnation and judgment?

Let us suppose there is a God as I believe, and one day YOU stand before him and face condemnation and judgment, how do you think you would do?

How many lies have you told in your life? How many times have you looked with lust (Jesus calls this adultery of the heart), ever hated someone? Jesus says that he who hates his brother is guilty of Murder in his heart. Ever stolen? Anything? Doesn't matter the value or the amount...downloading a song without permission is stealing... If God exists he made you, he made not only the air you breath but the lungs you breath with, not only the beautiful sky you see, but the eyes you see with and you have NEVER thanked him....Truth is I am also guilty of breaking God's LAWS...
We all are and one day we will all face judgement, and either be condemned (if we rely on our own "goodness") or declared innocent (If we rely on the goodness of Christ) I would really love for you to be counted among the innocent (righteous for Christ's sake and in his name) when that day comes.

You are entitled to your opinion, but not to your choice of facts.

Keep believing that F  Lane L YOU seem to put a lot of weight on majority opinions when it suits your needs, however when it comes to something you do not want to believe you have no problem bucking the trend... yes it is true that most believers of final judgement have some different beliefs as to the specifics, but they all agree that there will be a Judgement Day.

Anyway, what really matters is that one of us is right and one of us if wrong. The important question is what is there evidence for, and what we do with that evidence, there is indeed evidence for GOD, there is NO evidence for no God.... I agree you are free to believe anything you wish, but in the end our beliefs have little to do with whether a fact is a fact, believing something does not make it true....so either it's true or not, and one day either we will allface God....or we wont, there is evidence that we will, now one must ask, what evidence beyond your faith do you have that you will not stand before God and be judged, if he exists...which there is evidence that shows he does.

Good point. I have a best friend who previously did not believe in a creator of any kind. I was saddened by this. He refused to even consider that God exists. He wouldn't even "look into it" as he liked to say. One night, several years ago, we were on my front porch talking...

I said this to him that night:
"If you are correct, and I am wrong, then when you die, you'll go 'poof' and cease to exist. If I am correct and you are wrong, what do you think will happen to you?" "Do you think you'll go to Hell?" "What do you have to lose???" " Look into it, as you say. It can't hurt."

9 months later he was saved in his new church...
