Laying down the smack on smug "Progressives"

« on: August 31, 2010, 11:03:39 AM »

The D.O.J. just released their most recent domestic terror playbook in order to assist local law enforcement with understanding the domestic terror threats, symbols and terminology...  According to Holder and Co. if you identify with the Constitution Party or Patriot Movement you are being watched.  You are an extremist.

Fun reading their playbook.  You may want to think twice about those Gadsden Flag and Ron Paul bumper stickers (a real bulls eye for law enforcement)

Nice to see the Constitution Party (Ron Paul, Chuck Baldwin etc) associated with groups like ELF, Hamas, Anarchists etc.

I saw a Ron Paul bumper sticker this morning on my way to work. If I see it again, I will be sure to get the license plate number to report to the authorities. Thanks for the heads up.

I wonder if Bill Ayers is on the list of people to watch?  I know of some people who are friends with him.

Well, they ARE a threat to the Ruling Class.

In the Ruling Class believes itself to be the country.

This last weekend showed the rightful owners commencing to re-assert their ownership.  The Ruling Class is rightly terrified.

FWIW, I checked out the document and it's a glossary of terms.  Some other terms:

Al Qaeda (Al Qa`ida):
Allodial Title:
Animal Liberation Brigade:
Animal Liberation Front (ALF ):
Bilderbergers (Bilderberg Group):
Black Helicopters:
Computer Virus:
Sharia (Shariah, Shari`ah):

Etc.  There isn't actually any targeting of Ron Paul groups.  Tea Party and Tea Baggers don't even make the cut!  Dang those bureaucrats!  Left out the group that will take America back and do ..... we're not sure what, to put God back in control and save this country.... or something.

What Would A Tea Partier Do to take back America?  (WWATPD) I sure wish I knew the agenda, like what programs will be cut, how low will taxes go, will we treat the poor or just let them die on the ER steps, how will we fund the trillion military industrial complex, roads, and more importantly, what will Alaska do when they no longer send in a dollar and get two dollars back.....

Well take 2 minutes and explain to me what you know about the Constitution Party NC, and also the Patriot movement...

OMG is absolutely right.  These politicians (what few there are) that are tied to the Constitution Party and Patriot movement and not affiliated with the Republican establishment are a THREAT.  And they know it.  These people are free thinkers and not manipulated by the banking masters and aristocracy.

It seems that the state of Missouri released a similar report for their law enforcement identifying potential domestic terrorists...  They were ahead of the Federal curve.  It seems that Holder has no problem following Missouri's lead.

The Associated Press[1]

A new document meant to help Missouri law enforcement agencies identify militia members or domestic terrorists has drawn criticism for some of the warning signs mentioned.

The Feb. 20 report called "The Modern Militia Movement" mentions such red flags as political bumper stickers for third-party candidates, such as U.S. Rep. Ron Paul, who ran for president last year; talk of conspiracy theories, such as the plan for a superhighway linking Canada to Mexico; and possession of subversive literature.

JR, my problem is the "banking masters and aristocracy" have their fingerprints, and many millions, all over this movement.  They support every bit of it, just like they supported the Birchers a generation ago.  Who the hell do you think gains power if we neuter the feds?  My goodness, it will be an enormous power vacuum that will be filled by the oligarchs and plutocrats who already run this country, although with some limitations.  If you do what the libertarians claim to want, there aren't any brakes anymore, no more checks, nothing.

Besides, there's no support for a radical transformation of the country into an Ayn Rand paradise.  We love Medicare for mom, because she doesn't worry, and more importantly, we don't have to worry about bankrupting OUR families to pay for her care when she gets sick.  We love SS.  We love free roads, we love having the worlds largest military, and cheap oil, and a functioning court system, and NIH subsidizing our doctors, the research that leads to most drug breakthroughs.  We LOVE big government.  Everyone wants to cut spending, just not on what THEY like.  They hate pork barrel projects but around here we love OR getting a few billion each year, and we love UT and the money that flows out of that gubment agency.

Hellfire, the tea baggers characterized tiny cuts in Medicare to a death panel.  What the heck is grandma going to think about NO medicare, "sorry grandma, you've got to go to Wellpoint, and since you've had cancer, that will be $4000 per month for your policy...."  I guess it's rice and beans for supper!!!

Just one other point, the pushers of this movement are making money hand over fist.  Beck and Rush and Sean and Fox are all doing incredibly well, funded by advertising from major U.S. corporations, to the tune of $10s of millions per year in earnings for each of them.  Murdoch owns a global media empire that is doing fabulously well right now.  Who are those folks paying those advertising rates if not the "aristocracy" and if this movement is a threat to them, why don't they pull their advertising and force these people off the air.  Why do the Koch brothers and Dick Armey and Steve Forbes and all manner of "former" GOP operatives and supporters embrace this movement.

I guess it's coincidence that "taking America back" means the revolutionaries get rich while doing it, and the ones already rich just get richer still.  What a deal!!  Foment a revolution and make millions doing it!

I guess in another age, MLK Jr. would have demanded $75,000 per speech, a private plane to go from protest to protest, he'd have "written" (with a coauthor or two) a dozen or more books and had his own radio and TV show and web site and newsletter and "members areas" for the true believers to spread his message of looking out for the working guys and the sanitation union, which he was going to address before he was killed.  I guess the union would just have to come up with the money, or no speech!  And I doubt if he would be arrested, since he'd have had his own security detail and cleared his "protests" with the local police forces and had the FBI come to assist with protection for himself and the other speakers.

No, those are the kinds of questions that come with policy choices.

If you want to end Medicare, what will replace it Gray.  And if it's private insurance, how are you going to force Wellpoint to insure an old cancer survivor, because I can promise you there is no way to charge the kind of premiums that will cover the expected cost.  So will it be gubment forcing Wellpoint to take on that old woman, or will it be a government risk pool, or will it be subsidies that cover the cost of insuring an elderly cancer survivor, or will that old woman's family have to make up the difference?

What conservatives do is mindlessly push ideas like ending the unconstitutional medicare with no thought and no discussion of what happens next.

You don't like poor people and you sure as hell don't want to pay for their medical care - the lazy bums.  So what happens to a poor person when he or she gets sick?  Who pays?  Whose earnings will we confiscate to provide that care, or do you prefer that we do nothing, and let them do without, or maybe you prefer to let charity handle it?

We LOVE big government.

That's the problem.  Years of government brainwashing and dependency.  They've gotten what they wanted.  A subservient class of slaves depending on the crumbs to fall from Uncle Sam's table.  Sad.

NC, don't mistake the Constitutional Party with anything inside the Republican Party, or the SURROGATE tea party (self anointed leaders) leaders.  The tea party is the PEOPLE, and it will always be a movement and NOT a political party.

What this DOJ report is saying is that people fed up with big government or disenfranchised with big government are a homeland security threat.  Doesn't that concern you just a bit?  For someone who said that the NSA and CIA did Cheney's dirty work for the preceding 8 years, I would think that this would raise your ire too?
