I wish these "actors" would stick to what they do best...playing pretend.

Pitt was another one last week. These guys are drug-addicted buffoons.

... and yet conservatives are the "hate-mongers."

Sounds like the left is laying the illogical groundwork for the shellacking they are going to take at the ballot box come November according to many political handicappers. They have got to contrive a boogie man to blame things on. The entire left wing is built on lies

The Obama unemployment numbers from his Department of Labor

this is a pretty good tweet...

JUST HEARD OBAMA IS GOING TO IMPOSE A 40% TAX ON ASPIRIN BECAUSE IT'S WHITE AND IT WORKS

Celebrity Republican tweets.

The former "Happy Days" star Scott Baio says he is receiving Twitter death threats [now that's serious, tweeter death threats!!!] after tweeting an unflattering photo of Michelle Obama (below) with a childish caption.

Quote
"WOW He wakes up to this every morning," the die-hard Republican tweeted, along with a photo of Michelle with her mouth open.

Funny stuff, here's the photo:

A good one from Glenn, heir to MLK, Jr.

Ahh the old tit for tat defense again.  Comparing making a joke about someone's wife and wishing people to die in a satanic ritual.  You socialists really should let go of all the hate and anger.  It's just not healthy.

Shimmy,

It is the only thing the extreme left has left. They are entirely bereft of ideas or defenses for the awful mess they have created in the last 20 months or so. They are scrapping the bottom of the proverbial Saul Alinsky rancid mire barrel in order to demonize and create a boogie man target for the November elections. Think about it for a moment. What are you going to run on in November if you are a liberal?

The  enormous deficit the president has run up?

Better stay away from those facts when talking to the voters.

Or perhaps the great job numbers brought about by an economic climate crafted by your economic wizard of smart Larry "the looser" Summers

Better stay away from that one as well.

Or perhaps the centerpiece of your legislative accomplishments the last two years like the Socialized Medicine Obamacare Democrat Bill?

No chance man! Most Americans that work are just now getting the details of their new health coverage plans and the average premium is going to go up thousands as a result of  the Obama Democrat Medical Care that reauires by law taxes be collected from the middle class through premiums to start paying for th Obama Socialized Midicine Demcorat Bill four years ahead of the first benefit being received. Notice how no liberal media outlet or ANYONE in the Democrat Party dares to mention the very pride and joy of their legislative accomplishments, the Obama Socialized Midicine Demcorat Bill.. You would think they never passed the Obama Obama Socialized Midicine Demcorat Bill.  NOBODY wants to brag about it that voted for it. Am I the only one that finds this odd?

Your only option for the November elections is to craft a boogie man and do a political hatchet job on him. In other words, run the  old Democrat demagogy play student body right. They must savage the character and name of anyone that is not a Democrat before the November elections.

Here's the tweet...

“I AM FOR A SATANIC DEATH CULT CENTER AT FOX NEWS HQ AND OUTSIDE THE OFFICES ORDICK ARMEYAND NEWT GINGRICH-and all the GOP WELFARE FREAKS,”

Notice the call was for a CENTER.  I assume it was a poorly executed joke about Fox pundits complaining that the Mooosslemmmmss were going to build a "Victory Mosque" and a "terrorist command center" right there at Ground Zero.  Oh NOOOOOO!!!!

Quote
MORRIS: These Sharia mosques and that's the key word, Sharia, not mosque, have become the command centers for terrorism --

Jon Stewart did a much better job mocking the right wing race baiting and scare mongering idiots.

‘I was never for the death penalty before – I am willing to look at it again.’

I can't agree that the death penalty is appropriate, but it's odd, don't you think, that a company whose negligence has killed a few dozen people in recent years IS NOT subject to manslaughter charges, or even murder charges.  At what point do you conclude that employee deaths are a predictable consequence of their business practices and hold them accountable the same way you'd hold a drunk driver accountable for someone he or she kills as a predictable outcome of drunk driving?  There are real people behind decisions to cut safety corners that KILLED folks.  And more than once.

Here was a consultants conclusion in the months before the refinery explosion, and 15 dead:

Quote
A consulting firm had examined conditions at the plant in January and found conditions were so poor that it wrote in its final report, "We have never seen a site where the notion 'I could die today' was so real."

Tell me, what's the moral or criminal difference between driving after a couple of beers, and if you do and kill someone you might face manslaughter charges, and running a refinery with so little regard for your employees' safety?  I don't see any difference.

Just this year, they had a problem with their refinery and spewed out hundreds of thousands of pounds of pollutants, sickening an entire community.  I wonder what would happen to me if I spread poison around my neighborhood and sent 200 of my neighbors to the hospital?  Somehow I don't think a fine would get it....

It's a nice advantage of corporate "personhood" I suppose.  Real people, who live and breath, face charges and trial when they kill someone.  Corporate persons get a fine.  And people who think actual decision makers at companies whose decisions result in deaths and injuries ought to be treated like other human beings who kill folks are labeled crazy.  THAT is crazy if you asked me.

I guess it is the same as asking what is the moral/criminal difference between deliberately sticking a needle in the base of an infant's brain and sucking the brains out and your examples. 'Tis a slippery slope.

It is sorta like trying to define when life begins, or calling the unborn "fetuses". Kind of takes away from their "personhood" I suppose.
