VA Tech's uniforms, what you think????

I think UT should switch back to Nike because those Pro Combat Uniforms are beasty.. Just think if UT would've busted these out for Halloween last year WOW is the only thing you can say about these.. Wow

I think they suck. The flat black helmet looks good. The rest of it looks like something out of the XFL or a bad sports movie like Any Given Sunday.

Hate them. Hate Boise's even more. If UT came out in something like that, I would not be pleased. Guess I am just an old guy who doesn't like change.

Va. Tech deserved to lose because their unis were hideous. They looked like something you see laying in the bathroom floor. Got to be as one of the worst, outside of one of the 1000 different unis Oregon wears, in all of football. XBox live type of unis. Go Broncos.

I was not impressed with the uni look. But those teams are free to try a look and hope it catches on. I do not know if you folks know how lucky we are that we have a look and a color associated with the program such as Big Orange. Our challenge is to keep the haters at bay that want to come change colors look etc and harm the program. When you have something like we do don't change it

I thought both teams looked like they were wearing old uniforms they had found in the back of their storage closets.    They just look faded and it appeared as if the numbers were cracking and/or had faded off in the wash.   

In fact, it looked a lot like the uniforms all of the middle schools wore back in the 70s and that was only because they were wearing the high school hand me downs from the 60s!!

I liked VaTech's unis, but I didn't care for Boise's.

  Thats not what its about.  Its just a one game promotional deal by Nike.  They select 10 teams every year.  Next week, they will go back to their regular uniforms.

Some of the Combat unis look sharp, imo.  I loved the unis TCU wore the other night.  WVU's look great too.  I thought FSU's last year were superb.

  PV, How does changing looks and colors harm the program?  Oregon changes their look every week and they are going to come in here and stomp UT's and do more harm to the program than a cosmetic change ever would.

Im more into old school uniforms (Penn State,Alabama etc.) but those V-Tech uniforms looked sharp last night.

To be honest, I am really surprised that anyone who like those uniforms was actually watching the game.    I figured they would be doing Algebra I homework or playing video games.
